I have a 2-story aluminum Purple Martin birdhouse sitting on top of 20' of 2 1/2" PVC in the backyard. Inside that PVC pipe is a Hustler 6-BTV. The PVC is hinged at the bottom so that I can lower the birdhouse for cleaning along with the antenna if I need to make any adjustments. From the street you can see only the birdhouse. I'm sure there are other solutions to restricted neighborhoods, but you might consider this if you want a birdhouse too.
